"Seminar on Productivity and Industrial Relations" was jointly held by Confederation of Indonesian Trade Unions (CITU) and JILAF on December 1-4, 2010 in Bogor, West Jawa, Indonesia with 23 participants.
This program on Productivity and Industrial Relations has been developed as a new package program to aim at promoting instructors at workplaces. This was the second seminar after the first one in Mongolia in September, 2010. Top leaders from 9 federations, who will send instructors at their workplaces in the future, attended this seminar to understand the concept of this program.
4-day seminar was consist of mainly 1) Labour Standards and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Constructive Industrial Relations, 2) Productivity Movement, Practical 5S and KAIZEN, 3) Social Dialog and Collective Bargaining to gain sharing. The participants made comments that it was easy to understand each session from the Japanese practical experiences.
In the closing remarks, JILAF Executive Director Director-General Bro. Yoshio Takahashi made a comment and said "I hope you will make steady efforts with confidence at negotiation with managements after understanding meaning of productivity movement through this seminar."
